MADD Victim Impact Panel Guidelines
- MADD reserves the right to deny entry and/or to remove you from the course if any of the guidelines are not met. You will not receive a refund.
- The session will begin promptly at the time scheduled.
- Seating is limited so arrive early.
- If you are late you will not be admitted.
- Anyone who has consumed alcohol or other substances prior to attending will not be admitted. You may be asked to take a breathalyzer test. Registering on the breathalyzer will result in ejection from the VIP without a refund and the court will be notified.
- Relatives and guests may be asked to wait outside during the session.
- Children or teenagers should not be brought to the panel sessions as only court ordered attendees will be admitted.
- Proof of identity is required.
- All cell phones must be turned off during the program.
- No eating, drinking, sleeping, reading, talking etc. is allowed during the panel presentations.
- Disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.
- The panel will last approximately 2 hours. You will check in and pay the fee, hear the presentation, and fill out an anonymous pre-post survey. You will be given your certificate of completion and payment receipt to give to the court.
- Please make a copy of your certification and receipt for your own records before giving them to probation or the court. There will be a $15 fee for duplicate or lost certificates.
- Cost for the session is $20. No personal checks will be accepted. Cash or money orders only.
